NZ Athletes sponsors

Free Writing

WALT: To write a narrative,poem,rap.

If  you had a million dollars what would you spend it on?  I would spend it on clothes for my family or shoes for them. I would also want to buy a two storey house. I would even give money to people who need money.  If I still have money left I would probably give to my friends or my family for Christmas, and if I still know people from my old school who haves teased me a lot, I would give it to them.

Also I would spend with some food and presents for friends, family and teachers.  I would also spend it on people I don’t know but they are kind to me. I would give people some money like people who saves the word. For Example: Police men, Fire fighters, Doctors, Nurses and people who work at the ambulance people.

Who would you spend your money on? Please comment to me on what you would want to spend it on. Thanks for reading my writing, hope you enjoy my other posts. I would be glad if you check Room 8 blog.

One day Valerie Adams went to the airport to go fly to Brazil, Barra because she is going to compete in the Olympics. Valerie Adams was competing for the women’s shot put, when she got to Barra she hopped into a bus to the mall.

But when Valerie was looking outside when she looked out of the window she was that the bus went past the mall. She was screaming “ STOP, STOP THE BUS, I NEED TO GET OFF!!” But the bus driver didn’t listen, Valerie Adams started to cry but quietly.

Suddenly the bus stopped, Valerie wiped her tears away. “GET OFF”  the bus driver shouted. Everyone went out of the bus but Valerie was confused. She didn’t even know where she was. Everyone left but Valerie Adams was just staring, her stomaching started aching, she was so cold.

After a few hours she saw some cars coming, she waved her hands. Then a light blue car stopped and said “Do you need help” “ Yes, I do thanks for your help” replied Valerie Adams. “ Can you take me to the mall in Barra” said Valerie Adams, so they drove off.

It took 2 hours to get to the mall, finally Valerie Adams got to the mall. She thanked the driver and she went into the mall. She went to the Olympics and came 2nd in the shot put.

Hiwi the Kiwi

WALT: Write a narrative including lessons learnt from Hiwi the Kiwi.

One day I went fishing with my Grandad, we went to go pick up Kerstein. Then we drove four hours to Waikato river. Kerstein and I were so tired, Then we were finally here.

We hopped in the boat got the bait ready it was slimy and it smelled like stinky rotten apples. We put our life jackets on but my grandad didn’t want to put a life jacket on. but he “ No I’m an adult I don't have to wear a life jacket”. But Kerstein and I said “ IF YOU SAY SO.”

I got a little sea sick but Kerstein was there to cheer me up. We all got our fishing rods, it took for ages we waited, and waited until the boat started to move around. my grandpa kept on screaming “AHHH SOMEONE GET ME A LIFE JACKET.”

I remember I saw a life jacket in the captain's room so I ran to the room and I reached for it I ran back to my Grandpa and gave it to him, he quickly buckled up but luckily the boat stopped moving.

But my Grandad learned his lesson to wear a life jacket if you go on a boat or on the water.
