WALT: Narrate a story about a person who is lost in the forest while camping.

LOST IN THE FOREST!!

One day there was a girl named Bryana, she went to the year six camp with her class at Kawau Island. She was in the bus with her two friends named: Kerstein and Myztique.

They were lots of activities at their camp, It was night time Bryana went to sleep. She was feeling happy the whole day she couldn’t wait for tomorrow.

The next day she woke up she felt scared because there was no one at the camp she ran outside no one even her friends were not there, she felt like she was going to be like killed or she might get kidnapped. But she was walking around the forest she said in her mind “I’m lost.”

She walked around with a sore stomach she looked every where all she found was a lake and a broken tent, then there was a light bulb in here head “TING” she remembered that she watched a movie about surviving in the forest but suddenly she heard something…

“Bryana where are you” called a familiar voice she ran and said “How is calling my name” She ran every she heard another familiar voice “ Bryana it’s me Kerstein and Myztique.” Bryana screamed “ WHERE ARE YOU.”

She ran then she saw two girls standing next to a tree they were smiling Kerstein and Myztique ran to Bryana they hugged Bryana so tight and Kerstein said “ Where did you go” They missed each so bad so they just walked together all the way to the bus.

Holiday Highlight

WALT: Explain what you did in the holidays.

Have you ever played for a club? I played for the Niue team in netball. In the holidays I went to the netball courts, with my 2 sisters and my parents. My mum and my sisters walked in the courts and saw every country in there lines and singing the national anthem. All the lines were so long. I played for the under 11 girls team.

My manager told all of my team to walk to court 21. We played our first game against Tonga, all the girls asked who was captain and my coach picked me. We played and played until we LOST!! But is was a hard game but at least we tried ad had fun. Our next game was on court 19 and we were playing against Cooks-land. It was a close game because we just lost by one point. But we just found out that we had our last game in Court 20, we were playing against Samoa. But it was cool we both won, because it was a draw.

When we finished playing our netball game, my coach gave us some lollies to eat which was delicious. But at the end we took some photo’s and it was so sad because we only see each other at in only one more week, for prize giving. But after that we watched my sister’s team play against Tonga but they won also they came 2nd in the pacific challenge.

I was so tired and I just wanted to go sleep when we go back to home. I wish we do it again next year. But I love playing netball.

Olympic Narrative

WALT: Narrate a story about an Olympic athlete getting lost in Barra, Rio

One day Valerie Adams went to the airport to go fly to Brazil, Barra because she is going to compete in the Olympics. Valerie Adams was competing for the women’s shot put, when she got to Barra she hopped into a bus to the mall.

But when Valerie was looking outside when she looked out of the window she was that the bus went past the mall. She was screaming “ STOP, STOP THE BUS, I NEED TO GET OFF!!” But the bus driver didn’t listen, Valerie Adams started to cry but quietly.

Suddenly the bus stopped, Valerie wiped her tears away. “GET OFF”  the bus driver shouted. Everyone went out of the bus but Valerie was confused. She didn’t even know where she was. Everyone left but Valerie Adams was just staring, her stomaching started aching, she was so cold.

After a few hours she saw some cars coming, she waved her hands. Then a light blue car stopped and said “Do you need help” “ Yes, I do thanks for your help” replied Valerie Adams. “ Can you take me to the mall in Barra” said Valerie Adams, so they drove off.

It took 2 hours to get to the mall, finally Valerie Adams got to the mall. She thanked the driver and she went into the mall. She went to the Olympics and came 2nd in the shot put.

Country that host the Olympics must show they have the capacity space, to hold the games and invest their own money into them. Through the influx of tourists the hosting country hoped to gain more money during the Olympics. Ultimately the IOC decide which country get to host them.

In 2012 the Olympics were held in London, United Kingdom. It was the third time London had hosted the games. The Olympics were held there is 1908 and 1948. One of the upsets of the games was in shot put. Valerie Adams claimed the gold medal only after it was found her Belarusian opponent had tested positive for drugs.

My mark out of 10 is 7 because I forget to the punctuation.

The 2008 Olympics were held in Beijing,China. It was the first time women could compete in boxing. Woman from Brunei, Qatar, Saudi Arabia were allowed to participate. This was considered a big deal because women from these country were not equal with men. The game in China were one of the most expensive Olympics in history.

Last night mum made us spaghetti for dinner. "Mmm yum. Mum makes the best meatballs in the world!", My sister remarked. I ate lots of spaghetti, "HAHAHA!" I laughed as my brother spilt sauce all over his white shirt. "You've got sauce all over your face too" my sister added. I love when mum makes spaghetti.

"This is going to be the best day ever!"explained Philip he was bursting with 

excitement.

This is about a book my group read about and we had to explain what will happen in the next story. Hope you enjoy.

Holiday Highlight

Holidays has begun! On the first day of my holiday I went to the Blues game with the rippa rugby team. It was so fun because my two best friends were there with me, with Kerstein and Myztique.

We all had to meet at school, Miss Va’afusuaga came and told us which car we were going to go in. I went with Taiana in her car. Sheales, Naomi, Aneelis and I went into the car and we followed Miss Va’afusuaga to Eden Park. We all got our tickets and we went in.

When we went in we all had the Blues flag. After that we got our faces painted. We went in  and found our chairs. After a few minutes the game started, everyone was cheering for the teams they liked. Myztique, Samoa, Kerstein and I were munching on chips, it was so delicious.

We all ate junk food. Some of us were on the big T.V like Sheales and I and my other friends. The game was almost going to finish. When the game finished. We all went back home. That was a great night.

My favourite thing I did, during the holidays was that I had fun with my friends during the Blues game.

Pirate Land

WALT: Narrate a story about a pirate, on an island and treasure is found.

Pirate Land

Once upon a time there lived a pirate named Captain Hook. He was known as a nasty pirate because he never cared about anyone and he would always force his enemies to walk the plank. Captain Hook and his crew sailed the seven seas, in a ship called Royal fortune. Captain Hook wore a black patch over his right eye, He wears stripy clothes. He also liked to wears black boots. He never had a shower.

One day Captain Hook and his crew were sailing and in a distance they saw a island. They hopped out of their ship and they walked past the wet sand they saw a forest Captain Hook said “ Come on let's go explore the woods.” His crew said to him “ But Captain it is dark and scary. “Stop being scared” Captain Hook replied.

Captain Hook and his crew walked past the trees.

They saw something shiny they ran to the shiny thing it was a treasure chest they opened it. The treasure was full of gold then someone jumped up from the bushes it was another pirate they trapped him. The pirate said to Captain Hook “ Hello my name is Captain Wise, what are you doing? Are you trying to steal my treasure? “No” Captain replied. Captain Wise tied them up onto a tree. Captain said himself “ I feel sleepy maybe I should go sleep, and he did.

Captain Hook and his crew was so scared, Captain Hook just remembered he had his sword in his pocket, so he chopped off the rope and they ran away. But Captain Hook just remembered the treasure. The crew ran back and carefully took the treasure while Captain Wise was sleeping.

They all ran to the ship and they lived happily ever after. THE END.
