My Journey Being In Team 5

Have you ever been wondering what's it like to be a senior in team 5?? Well I will tell you about my journey throughout this year. Being in team 5 you have to be the leaders at Point England School.

My time at Point England School in team 5 has been awesome because I have met lots of kind and encouraging students and teachers. Being in team 5 is the most hardest team to be in because you have lots of jobs to do around the school. One of my favourite terms has to be term 2 because when the year 8’s left to camp the year 7’s stayed at Point England School we did lots of fun activities it felt like the year 7’s were at a even better camp than the year 8's.

I have been at Point England School for about 4 years, nearly almost everyone started Point England School at 5 years old, but I came to Point England School when I was a year 3 it was like an adventure because I was in a class with year 4 students, it was like being in a class with my older siblings it was so decorated and in the room had lots of different colours, my teacher was beautiful her name was Mrs Nalder and she was an amazing teacher. She teaches me different kinds of awesome things. Then I came up to year 7 which took so long.

Team 5 is the oldest team at Point England School we are older than all the other teams so that makes us the leaders for Point England School. At team 5 there are different unique students they have there own talent which is so amazing. Being in team 5 we start school at 8:30, we also wear different kinds of uniform such as culottes and a black hat we sit on chairs at assembly which is an so amazing.

It is an honour to be in team 5 because I have lots of different kinds of teachers who help me learn and I have friends who are supportive and friendly it’s my second to last year at Point England School and being in team 5. It was the longest journey I have been in, this school was a bit different from all the schools I have been to. But sooner or later everyone will leave this awesome school. Point England School is the best school I have been to!!!

The Bush

WALT: Write a narrative

One beautiful sunny day there was a girl named Bryana and her 2 friends called Kerstein and Myztique. Bryana had an idea, she said to Kerstein “Let’s go to the bush, in the forest I heard there is something scary about it.” Kerstein said “ Ahh..I don’t think that's a good idea.” “Don’t be such a scarey cat”Bryana replied “Well I’m not going” replied Kerstein. “Fine I’ll go with Myztique” Bryana said angrily.“No thank you I’ll stay here with Kerstein and watch a movie with her.” “Fine I’ll go by myself” Screamed Bryana.

Bryana put her Coat on,her red boots, also she took a flashlight and she wore the darkest jeans she ever had in her closet. She walked slowly out the door then she started to run. She was finally at the bush she walked slowly she found a big bush right in front of her, the bush was moving for some reason, Bryana screamed “ AHHHH..HELP” there was no reply. She screamed louder, but no one heard her.

She ran so fast all she saw was black bushes, green bushes, Dark Blue bushes all kind of bushes. But suddenly she saw it was getting dark she reached for she flashlight, nothing was there, Bryana thought in her head “ I think I dropped it when I was running” She was trapped in the dark with weird looking bushes and scary bushes. She screamed so loud there was a loud echo. Bryana fell to the ground she was so scared and so cold her lips started to shiver.

At home Kerstein heard something “Did you hear that” “ No not a thing, the only thing a hear is the sound of Maleficent laughing” Myztique replied. “SHH, there it goes again...wait a minute where is Bryana” Kerstein asked. “Well she is at the forest looking at the bushes” Myztique replied. “OMG, let’s go we need to find Bryana” Kerstein screamed “HURRY UP MYZTIQUE” Kerstein said angrily. They both ran out the door. They were at the forest, they saw the big bush. They just ran to try to find Bryana. Then suddenly they saw Bryana on the floor she was so scared that she cried.

The bush was moving they ran out the forest but it was so dark they didn’t even know where they were going, but then Bryana tripped she looked down it was her flashlight, the wind started howling it felt like a hurricane. Bryana picked her flashlight up and turned it on the light was so bright, so the three best friends walked out of the scary bush forest. Bryana didn’t want to ever go to the forest to look at the bushes in her whole life. But then Bryana said to Myztique and Kerstein “For now on we have to go everywhere together, even if it is scary for you”

Holiday Highlight

WALT: Explain what you did in the holidays.

Have you ever played for a club? I played for the Niue team in netball. In the holidays I went to the netball courts, with my 2 sisters and my parents. My mum and my sisters walked in the courts and saw every country in there lines and singing the national anthem. All the lines were so long. I played for the under 11 girls team.

My manager told all of my team to walk to court 21. We played our first game against Tonga, all the girls asked who was captain and my coach picked me. We played and played until we LOST!! But is was a hard game but at least we tried ad had fun. Our next game was on court 19 and we were playing against Cooks-land. It was a close game because we just lost by one point. But we just found out that we had our last game in Court 20, we were playing against Samoa. But it was cool we both won, because it was a draw.

When we finished playing our netball game, my coach gave us some lollies to eat which was delicious. But at the end we took some photo’s and it was so sad because we only see each other at in only one more week, for prize giving. But after that we watched my sister’s team play against Tonga but they won also they came 2nd in the pacific challenge.

I was so tired and I just wanted to go sleep when we go back to home. I wish we do it again next year. But I love playing netball.
